Aetovigla means “The Observatory of the eagles”. It disposes of 6 detached and fully furnished cottages built according to the local architecture and with respect to the natural surroundings.

These cottages, situated on the eastern slopes of mountain Psiloritis (Idi) at a height of 800 meters, are located 25 kilometers west of Heraklion City and only 4 kilometers from the historic village of Kroussonas.

The few remaining pairs of Gypaetus Barbatus build their nests near Aetovigla!
